Every year, needless to say, I always run away from jokes, pranks or anything to do with making a big ruckus on April 1st. To me, I think it's just a waste of time.
But not this year, cos' somebody played a prank on me. (WHAT!!!)

This is a brief account of what happened:
1. Everybody left the room, with their bags inside, for break, with mine there too.
2. everybody has fun. :p
3. Everybody comes back.
4. My bag is SOAKING WET!
5. Some wise guy must have thought it funny to dump a bottle of water all over my bag.
6. I freaked out.
7. A nice joke, indeed, which kinda left me frustrated though.

Happy belated April Fool's, hope you all 'enjoyed' the prank played on you as much as I did.

I think I may be suffering from lazy syndrome.
You see, it may be normal for a person to suffer from the Monday Blues, or just being lazy to do work.
Lol.
But I'm starting to become lazy to get up, to even play computer games!!!

Eek. I feel sad to write about this. Yes, fellow Xangans who may be reading this, I am still single but NOT available. How is that possible, you may think?
That's simply because my heart has been stolen by this girl I have not been able to forget for YEARS. OK, just kidding. It's an anniversary already, I guess.
Problem is, she's straight and most probably will be for the rest of her days (I think).
As you can see, I haven't even had the guts to ask her about her sexuality.
But seeing her negative reaction to my advances, I don't even want to know. =.=
I don't even get a temporary date for Valentine's Day!!!
I'm practically devastated right now.
Whatever.

I'm probably gonna be a hermit in front of my computer until that DAY is over.

Yep, dear Chinese people, we pride ourselves on our traditions and our culture, but how many of us really ENJOY Chinese New Year for everything?
Yes, the angpows are nice (if u're single, that is)
Yes, the cakes and delicacies are nice (If you are not on a diet, that is)
Yes, the meeting up with that hot cousin of yours is nice (if you're single, that is)

Now, what about the rest?
The relatives who ask you WHY are you STILL SINGLE?
The 'kiasu' relatives who dote on their children and their children's successes only?
The delicacies which make you feel guilty after Chap Goh Meh?
Or simply tearing down the decorations when everything's over.

But you know what?
I can't wait for Chinese New Year already, spare tyre around the waist and all. ^^

I was website-hopping just a moment ago, when I saw an ad at the side of the page saying
' The wildfires are RAGING, only YOU can STOP it.'
Next, they ask you to buy some weird book or stuff to 'stop these wildfires.'
That set me thinking, has the cause of saving the environment morphed into the curse of festivities, something COMMERCIALISED?
Although I think many who preach about the ailing environment have good intentions at heart, perhaps the message here is to save our money on our children's college funds and education, not pay money to those who hope to get some hard-earned dough on the pretext of saving the environs.
It's time to act, not pay. ^^
